Hey kids! Well.., It's summer here. Well, it is about to end, but I'm still bored, haha!
I've been watching some videos on Youtube featuring people's top 5 favorite Gundam Openings.
I was thinking about sharing mine too, though I'll be sharing my top6 6 cause top5 isn't enough haha!
First, top 6 favorite opening is one of the newer ones, the 2nd opening to Gundam AGE, it does look like your typical modern Anime opening, but I do find it significant since it gives you a good over view of the characters, ans is accompanied with a nice song as well! The song is "Sharp#" by Negoto.
Next, my 5th favorite opening will have to be the second opening to ZZ Gundam. I only watched the first episode to ZZ Gundam (lol) but this opening has to be one of the best I've seen so far.
Alright, so lets move on to the fourth one. This one is one of the cheesier openings.., but the drama here is really something! The song is "Trust You Forever" (cheesy isn't it?) which is the 2nd opening to G-Gundam.
Now on the third one. This is currently the newest Gundam opening and IMO the best from its series so far. If your a avid Gundam fan of today, you do know that I'm talking about the third opening to Gundam AGE. This opening for me shows the development of some characters and also the development of the story itself. The song is "Real" by ViViD.
Okay. For my second most favorite opening, we go back to 1999 and revisit the underrated Turn A Gundam Series which for me was actually enjoyable to watch. This Turn A's second opening theme, "Century Color".
And for the final one, a very popular opening from a very popular series amongst modern Gundam fans.
This is the first opening from the second season of Gundam 00 which is liked by many due to its strong emotions in both the song and the video. The song is "Hakanaku mo Towa no Kanashi" by UVERworld.
